| This is North American skidom’s answer to the all-inclusive beach vacation – the Alta Peruvian Lodge at the base of one of Utah’s most spectacular resorts. Alta has offered a unique skiing tradition since 1938. The mountain is graced by nature with wide terrain, breathtaking scenery and unparalleled snow conditions. Nestled against the backdrop of majestic Mt. Superior in Alta, Utah, the fabulous Alta Peruvian Lodge has welcomed visitors for more than 50 years with an old world atmosphere full of character and rustic charm. This resort mountain hideaway is a haven for the serious skier, yet skiers of all abilities will appreciate the exceptional conditions that Alta is known for: light, fluffy powder with an average annual snowfall of more than 500 inches. A full list of fun and relaxing activities is waiting for you each day at the Alta Peruvian Lodge. After a generous full breakfast buffet to get you going each morning, you head off to the famous slopes of the Alta Ski Area. The terrain is varied enough so that it is as challenging as you would like it to be. A mid-day luncheon buffet is served in the Lodge every afternoon. At the end of the day, return to the Lodge to enjoy après ski treats by the fire in the warm, spacious lobby and trade stories of the day's adventures. Then head for the outdoor heated pool and hot tub to relax the muscles and watch the sun set behind Mt. Superior. Or, you may choose to unwind in the bar, munching on popcorn and chatting with the local skiers. Then, you'll join other guests for dinner served family style, choosing from several different masterfully prepared entrees each night. Complete your evening by catching a movie on the wide screen surround-sound HDTV in the Alf Engen Room at 9:00 p.m., or lounge by the fire in the main lobby, which is stocked with games, puzzles and books.
