Join Over the Hill Gang, Int’l and ski your way to health for our first ever Members’ Health Symposium hosted by members for members.
We’ve invited four professionals from various medical fields, who also happen to be OTHGI members, to organize and preside over medical presentations in their field of specialty for the benefit of members. The goal: Learning how to take care of ourselves while enjoying our favorite winter sport…skiing! This innovative and informative event promises a comfortable and fun learning environment enhanced by the unsurpassed camaraderie OTHGI ski trips are known for!
We are pleased to introduce our moderators, all of whom bring to this endeavor a wealth of clinical experience and expertise, along with distinguished teaching credentials.
· Robert T. Guthrie, M.D., Radiation Oncologist; former Director of Covenant Cancer Treatment Center, Waterloo, Iowa; Assistant Professor, Radiation Oncology, University of Iowa Hospitals and Medical School; retired, residing in Silverthorne, Colorado.

We are gathering for this first-time event in Snowmass at the ski-in/ski-out Stonebridge Inn, a relaxing and convenient hotel that is well known and enjoyed by OTHGI members.
Starting with a keynote speaker at our welcome dinner, the presentations will cover a multitude of topics, including screening tests: fact and fiction; nutritional supplements; fitness; cancer diagnosis and treatments; osteoporosis diagnosis and treatment; what’s new in joint replacement; diabetes; diet; high blood pressure; and testosterone replacement therapy. Sessions will be conducted in an informal setting with time for Q&A following each presentation.
In addition, panel discussions will be offered on navigating and negotiating the Medicare maze and alternative medicines/anti-aging.
We are excited to present this opportunity and invite you to come join us for this groundbreaking OTHGI offering.
