This is Taos, New Mexico. It’s not just about the skiing – it’s about so much more, and we hope you’ll join us to discover why we’re so passionate about it. Not glitzy, not glamorous like many of its counterparts to the North. No hype, no crowds, no big corporation. Just friendly folks providing superb service on a mountain with over 70 percent Blue runs or easier. But Taos isn’t just a great place to ski. It’s a terrific place to learn how to ski better, from beginners to experts. No matter what your ability, if you want to sharpen your skiing skills, there is no better program than Taos Ski Week. This program, with instructors arranged exclusively for our group, is six mornings of instruction at every skill level from novice to hot-shot, and six afternoons of practicing new skills on your own. The outcome: your spirits will be refreshed, lifelong friendships formed, and you’ll have a renewed passion for the mountains and the sport of our lifetime. You will probably remember your instructor and his/her skills for a long time too! For the 13th straight year, the Snakedance Condos and Spa provide our group with friendly, comfortable, ski-in, ski-out accommodations at the base of Taos Mountain. On our first evening, our OTHGI trip hosts welcome everyone with a dinner together and an orientation for the week ahead. The next day we start our cutting-edge instruction and fast-track learning. Midweek, we’ll take a break and get together for an optional trip to the town of Taos for shopping, gallery hopping and dinner. At the end of the week we say goodbye to our instructors at a special appreciation luncheon. Taos is famous both for its terrain and the best ski improvement program available. And no matter how long you have skied, or how well, there’s always room for improvement. |
